Dragging Control from Toolbox gives an error.

Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me. I have downloaded the evaluation version of the media player and added the custom control to the toolbox. However, when I go to drag the MediaPlayerConrol onto the Design view, I receive a very long winded error. It begins like this:

Failed to create component 'WindowsMediaPlayerControl'. The error message follows: 'System.UnauthorizedAccessException:Access to the registry 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OpenNETCF\Pz8Xo5W9Y5UMhm/gPrVxA==' is denied....

Has anyone else experienced this or know the fix?

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Dragging Control from Toolbox gives an error.

I appear to have sussed this one. Amazing what a good night's sleep can do.

If anyone else should find the same trouble, it appears to have been the permission settings for my Visual Studio 2005 running on Vista.

When you run Visual Studio (2005 ?), make sure you 'Run as Administrator'

That's it. All should now be well!
