Hello, I recently bought the OpenNETCF.WindowsMobile.Media Window media Player control and it appeared to have installed ok and I could add a refernce to it in Visual Studion 2008. However, I have not seen this control added to the Toolbox palette of VS2008. Should it not appear there after the install? I also tried to add the control to the pallette but without success. Could someone please tell me the steps to make this control available in the Toolbox of VS2008? I am intending to use this control in a mobile application which has already been developed quite far in VS2008, targeted for Windows Mobile 6 device. It is therefore very important to get this control functioning on that platform.

problem solved - you have to use the .NET compact framework 2.0 for projects that utilize the OpenNETCF WMP control.

 Is there an update to .NET CF 3.5 scheduled?

 Same problem here but I am using 2.0. I created a project, designated 2.0 platform, added reference to OpenNetCF.WindowsMobile.Media, open Toolbox, no tool.

Click the OpenNetCF.WindowsMobile.Media node in tree, get leaf with WindowsMediaPlayerControl, drag to toolbox, icon becomes plus-sign(meaning drop is possible), drop, no changes.

Ideas?
