    SDF 2.2 Support Compact Framwork 1.0 ?

    Hi all,

     

    The SDF 2.2 Support Compact Framework 1.0 ?

    I am developing windows mobile 5.0 powered device. Its won't have Compact Framework 2.0.

    No.  SDF 2.x is build against CF 2.0. You can install CF 2.0 on the device.  The only alternative is to use the older, buggier SDF 1.4 code (which you must compile yourself).

    We have a similar problem, our app has used the 1.2 PC design-time components which seem to be not included in the 1.2 source archive.  Is there an installer that installs the "extensions" into VS 2003?

    <> I make software for Autistic children and I don't have full access to the programmer that did this project for me a few years ago. So I don't have the means to convert to CF 2.0 as you suggest above.  I really need to just load and make small tweaks to his code and then compile, as he did before, without really changing that much about the development environment.  I am not a hard-core coder.

    The reason that we only distribute the 1.x branch in source form is that it is no longer supported.
